About Camp Ramallah
Camp Ramallah is a weeklong camp for children between the ages of 13 and 17. Annually the camp is hosted during the months of June or July and applications are usually open between January and March. Applications will be available for campers, counselors in training, counselors and adult chaperons. The selection criteria will be shared once the application process is available.
The purpose of Camp Ramallah is to bring young members of the Federation from across the US to come together and meet in one place in a camp environment to experience Ramallah Heritage, Palestine History, and Ramallah Culture all in one place, all while enjoying adventurous outdoor experiences, and engaging with their extended Ramallah family.
The inaugural Camp Ramallah 2018 took place in the beautiful Smoky Mountains of Tennessee hosting a weeklong camp for 37 campers. In 2019, 50 campers met in Asheville, NC to build relationships, learn about our Palestinian history and context, and strengthen their commitment to our community. Camp Ramallah increases in size every year.
