The camp welcomes:
- Campers aged 13 to 17 years.
- Counselors-in-training aged 18 years.
- Counselors aged 19 years and older, or those who have completed at least 1 year of college.
Camp Ramallah will be held at 130 Kanuga Chapel Drive, Hendersonville, NC 28739.
At Camp Ramallah, each day is thoughtfully structured into three main segments to provide campers with a balanced and educational experience.
- The day begins with breakfast, followed by engaging lessons and activities designed to help campers connect with and learn about their heritage and culture.
- After lunch, campers participate in a variety of fun sports and outdoor activities, fostering teamwork and fellowship among their peers.
- In the evening, after dinner, campers come together for a varied lineup of entertaining and interactive nighttime programs.
Life at Camp Ramallah can be distinctly different from life at home. To help your camper adjust smoothly, it’s important to provide them with as much information as possible about what to expect. While offering a positive preview of their upcoming experience, remind them that camp is an opportunity to embrace new adventures, learn, and grow in an exciting and supportive environment.
Campers can look forward to:

Campers will stay in rustic, wooden cabins with screened windows and bunk beds. Each cabin includes restrooms and showers. Each camper will be assigned to a cabin based on their gender.
Sports activities will take place on two fields, and swimming will occur in the lake located on the Camp Kanuga property.
Facilities include a dining hall, an arts and crafts station, and multipurpose buildings for afternoon activities.
A comprehensive packing list will be sent to the email provided on the camper registration form closer to the start date.
Please note: Campers are not required to bring bed sheets, pillows, or towels. However, they are encouraged to bring a beach or pool towel for swimming.
Committee members will transport campers from the airport to the camp. Please ensure the transportation form is completed with accurate details which can be found here.
Campers may travel on the same flight as a volunteer serving as a chaperone if one is available.
Campers who meet the airline's criteria for unaccompanied minors must follow the airline's policies and complete the necessary paperwork to ensure a safe journey.
Laundry services will only be available for emergencies. Campers are advised to pack sufficient clothing for the duration of the camp.
For Girls:Â

Campers are not required to bring money. However, they may bring a small amount for purchases at the airport, if desired.

Daily medications will be managed by the camp doctor. Dietary restrictions will be accommodated based on the information provided.Â
Please bring all medications in their original prescription packaging or bottles and give them to the camp committee during check-in. For everyone's safety, no medications, including over-the-counter ones, are allowed in the cabins.
To ensure campers fully engage with the experience, cell phones will be collected and securely stored for the duration of the camp. Phones will be returned on the final night so campers can charge them before departure.
To ensure campers fully engage with the experience, parents of current campers are not permitted to stay on the campground or volunteer during the camp week.
Underage siblings are not permitted to attend the camp. However, they are encouraged to participate when they meet the age requirements.
Campers will not have the opportunity to call home during their week at camp. However, parents and guardians will receive regular updates about their campers via email and our social media.
