Dear Mayor Issa Kassis,

On behalf of the Ramallah people in the diaspora and in my capacity as President of the American Federation of Ramallah Palestine, I extend to you our deepest appreciation for your years of dedicated leadership and service to our beloved city. Your tenure has been marked by vision, steadiness and a profound commitment to Ramallah’s future. Under your leadership, Ramallah expanded its presence on the global stage, strengthening international relationships and elevating the voice of our people with dignity and clarity. You safeguarded our history while embracing innovation, ensuring that Ramallah’s identity — rooted in heritage yet forward-looking — remains strong for generations to come.

We are grateful for the programs you expanded, the new initiatives you championed, and the creative solutions you brought to the city’s evolving needs. Your work has touched every corner of Ramallah, from cultural preservation to economic development, from community services to global engagement. You represented Ramallah, and all of us who proudly trace our roots to it, with integrity and distinction.

For the Ramallah community in diaspora, your leadership has been a source of pride. We watched your efforts with admiration, knowing that the city that lives in our hearts was in capable hands. Thank you for carrying our story, our hopes and our identity with such care.

As you conclude your term, please accept our sincere gratitude for all you have done. We wish you continued success in the next chapter of your service and your life, and we remain confident that your contributions will continue to shape Ramallah’s path forward.
