Dear Club Presidents and the Ramallah Federation at Large:
We are writing to kindly request your help in recruiting young, energetic leaders from your community to join The Federation Project Hope Team! We ask that your club nominate two members from your community who fit the following qualifications. The candidates must:
- Be 18-29 years old
- Be a high School graduate and attending college
- Be active in community or church
- Have the desire to learn about their Ramallah Heritage
- Be willing and able to participate in programs set by the Federation
- Have good communication skills
- Be a team player
- Be punctual
- Be attentive to details
- Have good writing ability
Nominees for this program should have previously participated as a volunteer for over 40 hours in non-profit organizations in their community. If the candidate does not fit the exact above referenced qualifications, you may still submit the attached application for consideration. Once selected, the nominees will travel to Ramallah with the Federation, as a unit, to participate in what is promised to be a life changing experience of volunteerism and educational program! Â Participants will be responsible for their airfare, some meals and their personal expenses. The Federation will fund their hotel and travel accommodations during the two weeks period of Project Hope for 2014, currently anticipated to take place in late June or early July 2014.
To select the best possible candidates for this program, we ask that local clubs promote this program and select candidates based on merit and desire to be a future leader of the Federation. When possible, we hope that the clubs assist candidates with their travel financial needs.
Names of nominees for this program, along with a completed application, must be submitted to Project Hope Chairwomen Dr. Jessica Haddad Escobar (jessica.rose12@gmail.com) or Natalie Qandah, Esq. (nataliecqandah@gmail.com) no later than March 9, 2014.
We will keep you abreast of the planning throughout this process. We eagerly await applications from your community! Thank you for your leadership and your commitment to the Federation.
Sincerely,
Dr. Jessica Haddad Escobar
