The American Federation of Ramallah, Palestine (AFRP) is pleased to announce that its current President, Dr. Hanna Hanania was recently awarded the 2017 Distinguished Community Leadership Award by the Palestine in the United States Commission, during its Annual Arab American Candidates Dinner.
Dr. Hanania was recognized for his exceptional contributions he has made on behalf of the Palestinian-American community is diaspora.
The General Delegation of the Palestine Liberation Organization to the U.S. located in Washington DC is the official representative of the PLO in the United States. Its primary objective is to protect and promote the interests of the Palestinian people in the U.S., through official relations with the U.S. government, commercial contacts with the business community, and through public outreach and educational efforts aimed at fostering a better understanding of Palestine and Palestinians amongst the American public.
